Speed Work Today

Did speed work today.  Did 2 laps for warm-up to start.  Then did 4 x 400s with half track jog in between.  Did a 5 minute walk for a rest period then did 4 x 400s with half track jog in between.  Then jogged 3 laps for cool down.

Now I really don't like doing speed work because I do it on a track so I can track my laps and distance better.  Even though I have a GPS watch, I forget to keep track of where I am at and plus I don't want to add math to everything else I am doing.  I just don't like running on tracks because of the boredom factor. It gets monotonous running around in a circle for 4 miles.
